Which activity you enjoyed the most?
I really liked doing week 4 Rags to Riches. I loved making the Lego building on the left for my Dog Man cover! It was fun that I could do whatever I wanted.
Which activity you enjoyed the least?
I did not enjoy doing week 4: Getting Stronger because it was really hard to think of the bands that I liked. I like lots of music but don't always know who makes the music!
Three things that you learned while completing the programme:
1. I did not know that someone had landed a plane in the Hudson River. I really want to see the movie now.
2. I did not know there was a clothing shop called Twenty-Seven Names. It was interesting to read about brands in New Zealand
3.I did not know about the Aquabots. These sound really good for the environment because they could pick up trash in the water.
What changes/improvements you would make to the programme for next year?
I do not think that anything needs to be changed for next year. It was very interesting and not boring. I liked getting comments on my blog posts.
Summer Learning Journey = DONE!
If you were a kid at school would you gave done the summer learning journey?
Kia ora William, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteIt is so awesome to hear how much you have enjoyed partaking in all of the Summer Learning Journey activities! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every one of your blog posts, and have been very impressed with the amount of effort you have put into participating in these challenges.
My favourite blog post of yours would be the very first Summer Learning Journey activity, setting sail. You did an outstanding job listing the 10 food items you would bring, and your reasoning behind each item was fantastic. The standout item for me, however, was the milk. You said that you would tie it to the back of the boat and drag it in the water to keep it cold. This was such a brilliant idea, so ka pai for you ingenuity!
I am so happy that you feel you have learnt things from these activities, and am glad you are now interested in watching the movie about the Hudson River landing.
I also really appreciate how thankful you are for receiving comments on your blog!
Keep up the excellent work William. I hope you have an amazing time back at school!
