Term 2 week 7 Maths

This week for maths we learned about reversibility. First we watch't two videos about reversibility and we needed to answer a couple of practise questions. Then we needed to make a Sreencastify about our leaning. I made a slide about reversibility and here is my video about reversibility.

Term 2 week 7 Writing

For writing this week we needed to use a sentence stacker. We watched a Disney short called La Luna and we needed to write 9 sentences about 1 chunk of the short. We had to watch the chunk first before we wrote it. After we wrote about the first chunk we had to write anther 9 sentence about anther chunk. Here is my chunks that I wrote about. P.S We also did an extra writing task were we needed to write 4 sentences about every house should have a pet or every student should have a musical instrument and I chose every house should have a pet.

Term 2 week 7 Reading

For this week of reading we are learning about predictions. We had to watch two videos about making predictions and we watch a clip of Stuart little and we had to make predictions as we go. Then we needed to a book on Epic and we needed to make predictions. And we had to write our predictions down on a Google Doc. Here is the Doc I made my predictions on.

Term 2 week 5 Maths

For this week we had to make anther graph but this time we had to make a line graph. First we had to watch some videos about what a line graph is then we had to chose a topic for our line graphs I chose to do the temperature. To do this I put a thermometer outside and every hour I checked the thermometer I checked it from 7AM to 3PM. Then I made a Google sheets and I made my line graph and I wrote down 5 statements. Term 2 week 5 Writing

This week for writing we had to write a narrative. We had to watch some videos on how to write a narrative then we had to use a website so we can chose what our story is going to be. Then we needed to make a copy of a template and we had to write down the key points of our story. After we did that we had to write our story the teacher told use that the amount of words we could use was 300 or less. Here is what my narrative looks like and what the picture that inspired me.

Term 2 week 5 Reading

For the last week of online school our focus was to use questions to challenge the Text. We had to read one Text or more I only read one Text. I read a Text called New New Zealanders. Then we had to make a copy of the reading template and then we had to write 4 things in 3 boxes. This is what my one looks like.

Term 2 week 4 Writing

For this week we had to make a poem about anything. The teacher said we couldn't make an acrostic poem. I made my poem about my family. I wrote it down on paper first then I wrote it onto a doc. Then I recorded it on a screencastify. Here is the poem about my family.

This week I did a 3 2 1 chart for Reading. First we had to read a text. I read Boy on a Bike. Then I made a doc and I answered some questions. After that I made a 3 2 1 slide about the text. Here is the slide I made.

Term 2 week 4 Maths

This week we have been looking at ways to present Data. We had to make a graph using Google Sheets but before we can do that we needed to pick a topic. My topic was about car colours. I sat their for half an hour counting cars then I made a graph. Then I wrote down 5 statements on a slide. I put a picture of me counting Data - my dog helped. Here is my slide.
