Swimming

Last week we went swimming at Graham Condon. We went on a bus to get to the pool. We had buddies. My budy was called Daniel. When we got to the pool we got changed into our togs. Then we went to the pools and got in. Sometimes we stared at the deep end and sometimes we stared at the shallow end. On Wednesday we did water safety. We wore life jackets and no goggles. Then on Thursday they taught us how to be safe on a boat which was very short. Then on Friday we went swimming in our pyjamas. They were very heavy when we got into the pool. Then we had to take them off in the pool. It was pretty easy. Then we did some more lessons. Then we got out of the pool, went into the changing rooms and got changed. Then we got back on the bus and went back to school.

Over the two weeks of swimming I learnt some new stuff for example a new way of swimming in a river. You put your legs at the front and make circles with your arms in the water. It was fun. I was proud of how many lengths I swam. My next step is to work on diving!

How were your swimming lessons? What was your favourite part?
