This week for maths we needed to draw 3 stars and masher them with a protractor. The learn part of this task was really long witch was really annoying and it was just a lot of protractor mashing. Then after we did all that then I got on to the create and this is my work and sorry if you can't read it because I did it in my book.
This week we read an article about if Matariki should be a public Holiday then we made a Matariki star and we added 5 text event or text fetcher points of why it should our should not be a public Holiday. First we wrote a point from the article then we could make our star with paper or digitally and I made mine digital. It was kind of hard finding the text events but after a while I got the hang of it. So here is my work.
This week for maths we made a game for Top Team. First we did some measuring math problems in our books then we made our games. The game I came up with is called measuring shapes and it is a measuring game where you needed to measure shapes as fast as you can. So here is my work.
This week for reading we have done a Character reading web. A Character reading web is a web a of lot's of the mane characters from a book. The book I did was Dog Man because it is a good book and it's has a lot of character development. So here his my Character reading web.
This week for maths we needed to solve 4 math questions using a broad range of strategies. The strategies I used in my maths were Rounding and compensating and Place value witch are very easy strategies too use too. So here is my maths work for the week and sorry that its hard to read.
This week for reading we needed to find some Fantastics, Grammaristics and Boomtastics in a text. So the Fantastics, Grammaristics and Boomtastics are thing's in books that would describe more stuff in it. Examples would be Feeling for the Fantastics, Past and present tens for the Grammaristics and Rhyming for the Boomtastics. So here are some screenshots from my work.
This week for our Maori task we made a positive affirmation poster and then we recorded it on a flipgrid. For people that don't know a positive affirmation is basically something nice you would say to someone for example Koia kei a Wiremu (William you nailed it).
