This week we needed to read an story about any of the 4 articles. I read about Harry's war then we could make a comic strip or a screencastify over slides I chose a screencastify over slides. Week 3 Term 2 Writing

For this week we had to make a DLO about Suffixes and Plurals. If you don't know about Suffixes and Plurals well I'm going to tell you about them. Suffixes are a word that go at the end of a word. For example Painful and adventurous these words have Suffixes at the end of them (ful and ous). Plurals have s or es at the end of words. For example Tidiest and babies these words have plurals at the end of them. Here is my DLO about Suffixes and Plurals.

R.E The Beatitudes

The Beatitudes are 8 teachings that Jesus said to his followers. He teaches us the way's to live to be truly happy. He taught Gods blessing, to stand up for what you believe in and to take care of the needy.

The Beatitudes are important to me because I care for all people and I really want to help others.

Week 2 Term 2 Maths

This week we have done the same thing that we did last week but we have been learning a different strategy. This week I learnt Equal Adjustment. This week I made a advertisement instead of a screencastafiy. This is what my advertisement look's like.

Week 2 Term 2 writing

For writing this week we have been learning to edit our work. We needed to edit our report and we needed to make a DLO about important things to consider about editing. Our goal was Revise and rework writing for clarity, impact and purpose. proofread for spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Term 2 Week 1 Reading

Hi Everyone

In this reading task we were learning to make connections between non-fiction texts and our lives. The article I read was about the Treaty Of Waitangi and Scientists and how they work with the Maori people.

My Easter window.

Me and Mum have made an Easter window facing the street. There are six egg's and a rabbit in the window and I made two egg's. Mum helped me with the two egg's and one of the egg's that me and Mum made was a Poke ball egg. We put on different types of Poke ball's and the egg's where taped to the window. Spy or Zookeeper

If I had to choose either to be a Zookeeper or a Spy I would definitely choose to be a SPY!!! These are ten reasons why I would like to be a spy:

1. Because you have cool gadgets as a spy
2. Spy's get to catch bad guys
3. Spy's get to save the world
4. If you were a zookeeper you'd have to pick up zoo poo
5. Zookeeper might get eaten by lions
6. Spy's can travel around the world in cool planes
7. Spy's can wear cool shades with hidden abilities
8. Spy's can have multiple identities with disguises
9. I can pretend to be the bad guy's boss as a spy
10. If you were a zookeeper you would have to be careful not to fall into a dangerous animals pen.

My favourite board game

If I had to say what my favourite board game is I would have to say Monopoly Ultimate Banking.

In this board game you can play as the Car, Plane, Helicopter and Boat and like all Monopoly games you can go to jail and get a free parking and you can buy property's.

You win when a player goes Bankrupt and every time a player goes over go they get $200. There are also cards where they can have a Good or Bad effect and you chose which player to give that to.

There is a card scanner which you use to start the game and buy property's. I would recommend this game to anyone who is a big Monopoly fan.

Williams Star Wars Haiku

A Haiku poem is a short poem that doesn't rhyme. It is a type that comes from Japan. It has 3 lines with each line having 5 or 7 syllables. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 and the third line has 5 again.

Scavenger Hunt

Hello.
We live in a subdivision. And a man in the subdivision put out some big orange stones with numbers on them. Then on the Facebook page he gave us clues. We had to solve the clues to find all the 8 rocks. I did this with my mum, sister and dog. We found all 8 stones. I found most of them because I ran ahead. One clue that we found hard was "The sun produces me + the opposite of back". Turns out the clue was Ray White. There is one at the end of the street and that's where rock number 1 was.
I think it was a really nice thing for the man to do. I hope he moves them next week and gives us more clues.

Space Voyage

Guess what?!?!? I'm going to OUTER SPACE!!

This is what I would take:

1. I would take a MASSIVE O2 tank so I can breathe in the atmosphere.
2. I would take a supply of my favourite foods, medicine and some water so I can, you know, survive.
3. I would take a communication device so I can talk to my family and ground control.
4. I would take my own person small ship so I can go on expeditions and visit other planets and look out for meteors and shoot them if I need to to save the planet.
5. I would take a camera so I can take space selfies and send photos of aliens home!

I would love to go to outer space one day. Would you want to go to outer space one day and what would you like to see up there?

Yummy Ice Cream

Hello everyone,
I like ice cream a lot!!!
These are the flours that I do like:

• Goody Goody Gum Drop
• Cookies and Cream
• Chocolate
• Vanilla

In fact last night I had chocolate ice cream with sprinkles for desert! Yummy!

My favourite toppings are sprinkles, pink wafers and chocolate sauce. 

I also really like Ice Cream Charlie and Gelato. They are delicious.

Have you had Ice Cream Charlie? It's the caravan that is normally outside Victoria Square in town. Its actually called Vanilla Ices and it has been around since 1903!
