Williams Star Wars Haiku

A Haiku poem is a short poem that doesn't rhyme. It is a type that comes from Japan. It has 3 lines with each line having 5 or 7 syllables. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 and the third line has 5 again.

I have decided to write my poem about Star Wars. I used this image as my inspiration

Good and evil clash
As the fight rages on
The hero will win

Do you like my haiku? This is the first Haiku I have ever written :-)

  2. Hi William, that is an excellent haiku, well done! I especially love the first line. It's also a really cool picture, is that Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker fighting each other?

    1. Thank you for the comment. And it is Ray and Kylo Ren. It's from the movie The Rise of Skywalker. Have a great day.

    2. Oh! I don't know much about Star Wars as you can tell, although my dad used to watch it a lot but mainly the original movies.

  3. Great Haiku - especially as it is the first you have ever written. You have managed to tell a story in a few words which is a real skill.

Do you enjoy reading and writing poetry?
