PMP

This term I have been doing PMP. It's kind of like an exercise thing. I think I do it to help my motor skills. I go and do it in some of the older classrooms. I like doing it because it is really fun. It is fun because you got to do a lot of cool stuff like trying to balance on a seesaw thing. My favourite activity is sitting in a thing and you get to roll around in it. There is a thing where you get to throw a ball in a hole. The thing that I am best at is some of the challenges we get to do at the end. PMP has helped me become better at listening because you have to listen to instructions to know what to do.

Rescue Helicopters

The rescue helicopters are a group of people who help people who are in remote places. They just get a call and then they go to that place. The people that call them might have a broken leg or something like that. And if they are really hurt and an ambulance can't go there then thats where they go. I chose rescue helicopters because they inspire me because they help people and I like to help people too. The rescue helicopter people show the holy spirit because they help others.
I have been in a helicopter before. It was fun because I got to see everything from above. I hop I don't have to ever go in the rescue helicopter.

Help the Homeless

This term we have been doing PBL about how to help others. I did about the homeless people with Cory. We wanted to help them by giving them food and money. We thought this could happen by donating stuff to the Salvation Army. Cory found out that there are about 1400 people that are homeless I think. Homeless people is a problem and it makes me feel sad because they don't have any food. The right thing to do would be to give them food. This holidays mum and I are going to buy some canned food and donate it. And if some homeless people have dogs then we need to give them dog food.

Coding

This term I am doing coding. I have been coding on chat bot. I hope to make a game in the future. I would like to make a game about STAR WARS .
It would be about R2D2 .
I have finished chat bot. And now I am doing Paint Box. It's good. It's a little bit hard and sometimes I can't understand what the instructions mean. I ask a teacher and then I understand a little.
I like coding because it is fun.

Literacy

Literacy!

This term we have done Chinese and Spanish. I enjoyed it and sometimes we got to play kahoot. I like kahoots because they are a fun way to learn.
We have sessions for literacy. Miss Roache and Mis Dungey have been my teachers.
We sometimes do follow up. I am doing good with this but I think sometimes I don't know what to do in follow up. In the future I will ask a teacher when I am not sure.
Sometimes I could go and do Steps. Sometimes it can get easy and sometimes it can get hard. I do ask a teacher for help.  I feel like I am getting better at Chinese and reading.

PBL

Hi my name is William,

My question for pbl is when you learn do you get more % of your brain and what are the different parts of your brain?
So to do that I played memory. Memory is a game where you have to get two cards that are the same. It doesn't have to be the same shape or colour just the same number. You lay all the cards out face down. You take one card and then take another card to see if they are the same. If they are not the same the other person has a turn but if you do get a double you do get another turn. I played with a few people.
When I first started playing I found it had but then it kind of got easy because I learned how to concentrate and remember the cards. So i think I did start using more % of my brain.

I didn't find out about the different parts of the brain but one day I might do maybe.

Winter Sport

On Thursday it was sunny. We didn't go though because we had a Bye. A bye means we had to stay at school. That made me feel a little bit sad because I was ready.
Last week we did get to go. I play soccer. I think I was striker. I'm not sure what that means but me and Flynn were in front of the goal. On the first round the other team didn't get the ball into our goal. On the second round I was the goalie. That means I had to keep the ball from getting in the goal. I did well.
We got 9 points so we won. I felt good because we won. After the game you high 5 the other team and say good game.

Trip to Clip n Climb

One day my school went to Clip and Climb.
Clip and Climb is a place where you can climb the walls kind of like rock climbing. I've been there before. When we got there we had to wait for our turn and listen to a talk from the safety man. Then we had to put a harness around our waist. This is what you clip on to the wall with. Then we went in and the first wall I climbed was the green pipes in the picture. The picture is not of me though! There are strings for you to clip on to your waist that are clipped on to the floor. You have to hold on to them so they don't go up to the roof.
We went to Clip and Climb for PBL which was all about what we can do with our minds, body and hands I think.
I got to the top of some walls that I hadn't done before. I also noticed on some walls there were goals to do. I felt proud of what I climbed.
I'm not scared of hights but I do know some people that are. Are you scared of heights?
