For last and this week for writing we needed to write a poem. We were given this task last week but we are showing it this week so I did all my work during the long weekend. The poem we needed to write was about Ngai Tahu and something related to them so I wrote about the Aveon river in Christchurch. I also used Line breaks and a simile in my poem. So anyways here is my poem.
I am a student at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School. I am in Year 7 and my teacher is Miss Parker. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Maths W9
This week for maths we made Maori patterns using: Reflection, Rotation, Translation and Enlargement. If you don't know what these are then I'll explain so Reflection is when you mirror the shape, Rotation is when you rotate the shape, Translation is when you move the shape up or down or side to side and Enlargement is when you make the shape bigger. So anyways here are my examples and finished work.
Reading W9
This week for reading we had options for our create task. The one that I did was a Venn Diagram about the Canterbury Museum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. But before I did that I read two texts about them witch gave me some info to work with. I put down 4 similarity's and 4 different's on both of them. So here is my finished work.
Have you ever made a Venn Diagram before and if you have what was it about?
