Life in Lockdown.

Lockdown has been pretty good so far at my house. I have been chilling most of the time but I have been doing some reading. I am reading a book called "Alex Rider: Stormbreaker" by Anthony Horowitz. It's great so far and really exciting. It has lots of references to my world for example Nintendo, PlayStation and Burger King. I recommend this book to kids my age who like action and stuff.

I have been also training for the cross country by running on the treadmill. This morning I ran 3.1km. The good thing is there is a TV in front of it that I can watch Netflix on.It makes running much easier. I never look forward to doing it but I feel good once it is done!

I've been also doing some homework. A few boxes of steps each day, some Protoech maths and some IXL too!

We have have been doing lots of family bubble walks with my dog Jack but these last two its just been rain, rain, rain! Now I'm nervous that its going to flood if this keeps going!

Some nights we play this card game called Skip-Bo. You have to put the cards in order from 1 - 12. But there are also Skip-Bo cards which can be any number. My dad always wins but I can beat mum.

Oh and one morning even watched a movie in mum and dads bed. We watched High School Musical. If you like Disney and musicals then this is a movie for you. It's on Disney plus.

So that's the story of my lock down so far. I really miss my Granny and Poppy but we get to skype with them and I know not seeing them is keeping them well!

How is your lockdown going? Have you done anything interesting? and what is one thing you want to do when lockdown is finished... other than going back to school of course!!!!

Mum made us all face masks. This is mine.

  1. HI William, love the face mask. Great post for the Blog Hop! Sounds like life in Lockdown is not so bad for you! I love that you have been training for cross country on the treadmill - it's great to have the TV there to watch and take your mind of the exercise. I am like you - always glad when the exercise is done.

My lockdown is going pretty smoothly so far - haven't really done anything that interesting though. I like that I don't have to rush in the mornings!

One thing I am looking forward to doing is cycling up into the hills - because at the moment we have to stay local.

What are you looking forward to doing after the lockdown is lifted?
